Scope	This international standard describes a method for the determination of the mass per unit area of moulding compounds and preimpregnated sheets, tapes, fabrics and mats (prepregs). Applicable to prepregs irrespective of which reinforcement (aramid, carbon, glass, etc.) or which type of matrix (thermosetting or thermoplastic) is used.
